well apparently syf was great! (: haha. so sorry for the late post but yep! :D i love IPSYF totally. haha. the whole morning started out with the chinese dancers annoucing their results and wishing us all the best. it felt great. (: knowing that someone out there is cheering on for you. then after assembly we went off, with the well wishes of friends and all! (: haha. when we were walking by the long curve way, we were like getting too high from the nervousness so i guess people behind us like chicken must have thought that we went TOTALLY crazy! haha. then we went to change into dance attire and had a few runs in the gym. tips for dancers: never ever try to warm up just by stretching. cos it doesn't work. ): HAHA. that's what we had and after dancing one round, we were like sweating like a stallion! (ok, not funny cos it is inside joke) that is like a real nice warmup. (: i forgot whether it was the first or the others but there was this once when the seniors commented that it was really shocking. :D when they said that i was like "FINALLY!".
then we went to change into costume and put on makeup, and then next moment before we went for lunch, our class were like paparazzi, waiting for us outside. -.-" got a scare la! so i was like hiding all the way till i got up. then saw more people. -.-" ate lunch, had quite a time settling down every one and then for the first time, i tried asking for apple-orange fruit juice in the bubble-tea stall and there have it! :D haha. although it is like kinda sour. then after that talked to tiff for a while. (: and jacq too. got to know how she felt about -------.
after that we were all too full so we put on the last touch up and we were ready to go! (: haha. although me and liyana was so lost at the hall stairs area, only to know that the rest was in the gym putting on glitter. -.-"
on the bus i was SO DARN tired. kept wanting to fall asleep. :/ when we reached there, mr dan told us about another school that used the same song as us. "omg. how? what if we do badly?" was all i can think of. but looking at each and every one, i decided to believe in us. (: warm-ups, talking, toilet-trips etc was part of the waiting time. saw meiting, xinjie and nan hua dance! (: haha. then we went in, said "good luck" to new town who was before us, forbidded ourselves to look at other people (although you can see from the shadows and tv screen. HAHA), cuddled for body warmth and encouragements. :D then, it was our turn. everything went on smoothly for me i guess, with only a few parts that turn out not that nice.
the moment i dropped, i felt so lost. "why was it so short? why aint i panting? am i not putting in enough effort? can we do this again?" that was all i thought of. we left the stage, cheered, and then unhappy things happened. oh well, not only that thing, but also like we all wanted to see nan hua. the main problem was our rack. so in the end i felt that it was not fair that chuyun, charlyn and someone else (so sorry i dont remember who) cannot watch so i went to join them while the rest went to watch. it was when i reached the ground floor then they told me the rack can be left there! -.-" so we watched and nan hua was GOOD. (:
after that we went out, and saw all the seniors. shiwei came back too! haha. received quite a few good comments and it was really heart-warming to see all your seniors supporting you and that all your effort paid off. (: the results didnt matter to me then. at all.
after that we went back to school, changed and some more unhappy things happened(just some words that came out wrong)and then we went for DINNER! (: at vi'llage. (: and the teachers were damn nice to have subsidized each of us $10! there is ** of us. calculate yourself. =P ate quite a lot but shared with liyana mostly. went home after that and we were soooooo tired that me, liyana and charlyn all slept once we got onto the bus. HAHA.
