boo~ i am back to update about YLTC. quite stupid of me to update only like so late but oh wells, i wanna record these times down.
it all started out not that great actually, haha cos i heard a lot of things about YLTC like how tough it was and seriously, i didnt really liked the idea of getting darker (even though i am already dark but it is hard for me to get back to "fair" ok!) then heard that some ppl pon-ed after getting MC. -.-" and the worst thing is i wasnt close to any of my group members, or rather i dont really know them other than xue li . so on the first day without reg, i felt so lost and lonely(?) HAHA.

first day
quite fun. we started playing games like even without really knowing each other at all. haha. but then after a while we got to know each other cos of the ice breaking games. (: it was quite funny esp when we came to mr heah's station. cos we had to ask each other questions so i asked karthik on why he joined indian dance. then he told me he wanted to increase the guy ratio in dance. -.-" haha. then after that we had this egg game! haha. and we thought ours was realyl well protected but when the egg came down... the "piak" was super loud. -.-" HAHA. after that was the first land ex. super far~ haha. we had to go paya lebar first before going to changi for lunch. ): far and tiring cos it was raining! but at least i got to sleep on the bus, which was nice. i needed that. after lunch was trip to pulau ubin and walked more. the irritating thing is that we had to walk from one end of pulau ubin to the other! -.-" with our freaking heavy bag somemore. -mutters. anyway after that we went to dairy farm and then dinner! HAH. but we were one of the late ones so the whole canteen was packed! HAHA. had leadership talk after that but was super tired! haha after that we were allowed to go back to bunk and i realised... it is not that bad afterall! (:

second day
woke up quite early and had PT. it was killer! we had to do 100 star jumps and it was hell. my calves were like aching right after that but we still had to do half-squats-running. -.-" after morning pt was sea ex! our group did the rafting and the dragon boating first! HAHA. our rafting was quite... (no comments) but i got CUT! ): was damn pain ok. couldnt even bend my knees that day. HAHA then it was dragon boating. was fun too! haha although the guy in front of me keeps splashing water on my wound. -.-" after that at night we had leadership activities which was quite fun! HAHA i was the observer for one game and played the rest which was really interesting! (: and i must say that SWIFT is really quite united! (to a certain extent la)

third day
no PT in the morining cos of the rain! (: HAHAH. was super happy ok! then we went for the sea ex part 2 where my group did kayaking. we had an open kayak and i shall not comment on how i had to row quite a distance by myself cos my partner was constantly sea sick. -.-" and i think i looked quite tired cos even nicholas asked me about it. HAHAH. in the end my partner was so sick that we had to sit in the instructor's boat to get back. HAH. at night was the outdoor cooking! HAHA. it was really really fun. we even had some weird story that links the food together but i guess the judges were more impressed with the group that presented something about YLTC (ok even i was impressed) but overall, our food was really great and nice to eat. WAHAHAHA. but we all got so tired that we all were almost falling asleep during the alumni talk. so tired that xueli had to draw to keep herself awake! finally when the alumni talk was over, it was a sharing session and my group shared about the outdoor cooking being our favourite event! HAHA. cos it really bonded us together (although we all felt that all events bonded us together alot)

forth day
had to leave after breakfast for BUTTS OFF! prac so missed absailing and flying fox -cries- i want that ok! but anyway came back for lunch and then did the the rest. like all the obstacle courses. SPIDER WEB was funny. we were like touching butts at the second round la! then it was the TYRE thingy. i was the last and the whole group was like asking me to do stunts la! should had left yanjia to the last. cos she is CD de ma. more flex. then after that was the wall thingy. got all up and it was really hard at the taller one. -.-" and was so angry that some ppl was like looking down on us girls. GRRR. anyway after that some of the girls were so addicted into playing the shorter wall. but i didnt manage to climb up. ): then it was thelook-like-OBS courses before the challenge pole*. did that in a spilt second! HAHA. then it was campfire! our skit was really funny when we first rehearsed but then when the actual thing came... it was -.-" and mr gilbert lee stole our flag! so when we finished our skit he was like "yeah SWIFT!" and waves our flag. -.-" the whole thing ended off quite high cos mr heah was like playing the frog song thingy and also his modified version of the bomb game. SUPER FUNNY. and i finally saw his girlfriend! SUPER PRETTY CAN?! that night my whole group practically didnt sleep and spent our time like talking and playing. HAHA.

LAST DAY
we were let off to kallang and got back to NJ within 2 hours! just 5 mins later than group 2! and i think we would have won at first if our bus was not later than theirs by 3 mins and if we didnt have the 5 mins break. HAHA. but i guess it will all turn out to be the same. maybe it is meant for us to be 2nd! HAHA. and we all slept on the bus like crap la. haha couldnt really wake up when we reached kallang. HAHA. then after that we spent a lot of time waiting for other groups and finally breaking of camp! our group got overall 5th! (: at least not last. haha. phew~ then it ended off with a series of photo-taking and hugs and YLTC is finally over!

i will certainly miss these fun days. :D

*ps. i lied. that was the first time that i tried challenge pole! HAHA. :/
