this is probably the best birthday I ever had.

never had I got to celebrate my birthday with a proper party outside of our house. I know it was all v bad of me, since I'm the youngest and I knew my sisters and parents would give in to me and grant my wish, even though it was not a tradition in our house to have such a party. (but frankly speaking, the McDonald's idea was not by me. haha didn't even thought of having a party cos it was too ex. BUT I do admit that I was envious when I participated in my friends' parties till I saw the costs HAHA)

haha it all started with a discussion on strawberry jelly hearts cheesecake with Kailing and Wen Xin, when they promised to make me one for my birthday if I hold a birthday party at McDonald haha. I thought it would have ended there, till I went to Gardens By The Bay with Ying and Desmond when I talked about the idea again and Ying said if I want she would get down to planning it. I was seriously contemplating by that time. I know it's gonna cost some money but hey it's my 21st! (not that it's extra special since every year I also only got to spend each age once BUT my adulthood cum forever gone childhood and teenage years)
The real thing happened when we went to pick Xin up from the airport. so while eating lunch after picking Xin up, we brought the idea up again, since Wen Xin and Ying were both there, and *POOF* I am gonna have my party.

Ying started planning, and I'm really thankful cos I didn't have to do anything and just had to prepare for my exams peacefully. (okay not peacefully cos I didn't have the drive to study for exams this sem T.T)

AND IT WAS MY DAY! :D
so as usual I didn't sleep till after 12am and I was kinda excited that it wast birthday already. haha it was somehow a day that I really looked forward to -hello adulthood! - but at the same time dreaded -byebye young days-
so after waking up, I went for McDonald breakfast with Ying and Wen Xin fam! just had to eat the bacon meal though it wasn't fantastic cos it was so dry. after the meal I went NTUC with Wen Xin they all and bought TOTO. heh wanted to try out my birthday luck. I went to the hospital with Ma and got even better news of not having to see the doctor anymore unless necessary! after which we went home and Ma gave me a treat at Pontian where we ate wanton mee. haha then it was NTUC time! surprisingly I didn't have the urge to buy anything XP
So went home and I started to just nua around. I wanted to do a lot of productive things on my birthday, such as clearing up my table area. but then it was just so good to be sitting at my table doing nothing and just using my phone HAHA waste of electricity -.- when I was done with the phone it was already time for bath and dinner!
Ma cooked super a lot for that day. haha partially cos everyone was coming home to eat. And even pa was early ((: so soon after Wen Xin and Mike they all came and we cut our cake! I got my strawberry jelly hearts cheesecake while Shan got a chocolate one! super yums! after all I just continued nua-ing my night by watching tv and just feeling really happy that I have a family like this. so my birthday ended with me sleeping past 12 again, playing with the comp and feeling so blessed when I saw all the birthday wishes on fb, though I know 95% only knew of it cos of fb.

but my birthday celebrations didn't end there. the next day, I went to bugis to meet Jong for K BBQ! I haven't eaten it before so I was pretty much hyped up for it haha. We met and shopped around for a whole to look for Christmas presents. THEN WE HAD K BBQ omg I never ate till I feel like puking so badly. but the meat were all so heavenly. It was my heaven (and sin cos I also had a lot of meat from the previous night). haha talked a lot about Korean stuff and other random stuff with Jong, and I enjoyed singing to the songs that were playing in the shop. after eating we were damn bloated so we decided to walk around and finally settled down in Coffee Bean in Bugis+ and continued talking. we talked for really long, before heading to Watsons and then going home. And the lunch was so fulfilling, since we ate for near to 2 hours, that I totally could not fit in dinner. then just continued watching tv and enjoying my night again haha. replied all the birthday wishes on facebook and watched a lot of videos before moving on to arrange my iTunes.

(so I didn't finish typing the post, and it's already 13 May now. I shall depend on my memory and try and finish up this post!)
so after waking up, it was the party day! SO EXCITED! nua-ed around in the house before I headed down to Yew Tee in my new dress and shoes (given to me by my Godmother cum 4th Aunt) and my new longchamp bag from Xin! Forgot to wear the gold necklace that my Godmother got for me though D:

But the sad thing was, as I was walking over, the sole of my shoe came off ): but nevertheless, it did not really affect my mood because all I could think of is the party! Arrived at the party and BOY AM I EXCITED TO SEE THIS CORNER OF MY FAMILY MEMBERS WAITING FOR ME :DDDDD
First thing I did was to put on my crown, which every guest of the party was entitled to ((: and the party proceeded as follows:

- Game 1: Paste your tag on the lamb and the one who pasted closest wins a MacDonalds gift box! I didn't win I think. haha nearly got scammed to pasting it on the wall but luckily my hands didn't fail me
- Lunch: I didn't know I could order something else, and just had to pay extra. But nah in the end I decided it was not worth the price and hence, I just ate everyone else's shaker fries hahaha.
- Game 2: Passing the marbles. We were spilt into red and yellow groups, since the colour theme was MacDonalds (I don't even know why I set it that way) and we were supposed to pass marbles from one end to the other, where the fastest team won! On my side we had Mei as the cup holder but I guess while trying to hype her up for the game, we kinda made me slightly too competitive? HAHA she cried when our side lost. But it's okay! All the kids got the prizes in the end anyway!
- Game 3: PINATA. omg I always thought I would never have a chance at this BUT OH YEAH I GOT ONE FOR MY PARTY :D but it was so hard to hit. I ended up hitting too hard and the whole thing fell onto the floor. After it was cracked open, I grabbed really lots of sweets and chocolates HAHAHA.
- Present and cake time!

This was probably the best thing I have received (or maybe not the best, since I got my laptop for free too HAHAHA) but seeing the number of people that chipped into my present, I could not have asked for more T.T

I also got angbao from 大伯母 since she wasn't part of the group that shared my phone. hehe

After which everyone had to go, and we gave everyone a goodie bag, and I took home the pinata stick, balloon and goodie bag!

Am really really very thankful to have family members like this, who are willing to go the extra mile to give me a party just cause I was being wilful and wanted one. Special thanks to:
- Ying and Des (I suppose), who organised and paid for the bulk of the party T.T
- Xin (who chipped in the party and the phone)
- Shan (bought the cake, despite complaining that it was expensive, and not to forget that her birthday was just a day away from mine)
- Parents, though Pa could not make it that day, I am really thankful for my parents who gave birth to me, and brought me up. And always giving in to my nonsense and all :')
- Relatives, who made my life so blissful

Now that I am 21, I am going to be more responsible, and act with more brains and maturity. Ain't gonna let my family worry so much about me, and I shall promise that I will find a good job and repay this love by spending more time (and money) on them too.
